Short Bio

This alternative soul-stompin’ piano rock duo is a high-spirited vivacious live act that received standing ovations on their fall tour with the Grammy Award-winning Gipsy Kings. A creative marriage of Lisa Needham and Rich Wyman’s songwriting, harmonies, and virtuosic piano playing is a crystal clear testament to a shared joy.

Eddie Van Halen played the guitar and produced several of their tracks, along with Andy Johns (Led Zeppelin and Rolling Stones engineer) at the famous 5150 studios. Rich has won 10 ASCAP songwriting awards and the "Silver Medal Award for Excellence in a Performance Film" at the Park City Film Music Festival. He had two top 40 radio hits in The Netherlands and played European festivals including Sea Sessions (Ireland), Bospop, Huntenpop, and Parkpop (The Netherlands), and Popkomm (Germany). PARK88 toured the northeast and performed at the 2019 Folk Alliance International (Canada) and the 2019 Sundance Film Festival (USA). PARK88 composed and performed the soundtrack for the award-winning documentary Sister Wife which premiered at The Sundance Film Festival. They warmed the crowd of 22,000 opening for Alanis Morisette and The Goo Goo Dolls at the Winter Olympics. Rich played lead piano in Tres Grandes, a triple grand piano show at The Venetian Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Most recently they toured the northeast and Canada opening for Grammy winners the Gipsy Kings.

The voices of Rich & Lisa mix beautifully on ‘Slow Down’ which is a jewel of a song. This is a hit.

I had the great fortune of shooting PARK88 opening for the Gipsy Kings. They held a sold-out house in their hands. Worth every penny to see them perform.
— Mickey Deneher, Photographer Paramount Hudson Valley Theater, Peekskill, NY
Both Rich and Lisa have great voices and the production is warm and professional. This CD makes me happy!
It’s solid stuff!
