Day 8 and 9 , Gipsy King Tour
Niagra Falls and Paramount Hudson Valley Theater, Peekskill NY
NIght Off in Niagra Falls ON
We pulled into Niagara Falls around 2:00 am and got off the bus at The Hilton Hotel. We checked into our beautiful room on the 16th floor with a view of the falls. We paused for a while, taking in the beauty of Mother Nature before crawling into our comfy bed for a good night's sleep. The next day we slept in until 10:30 am and made our plan for our day off which included laundry, a workout, lunch and a trip to the falls.
We gathered our dirty laundry and headed down to the lobby to ask the concierge where the washers and dryers were. We were told that they didn’t have any on site, gave us a map and said it was a 10 minute walk down the street to a laundromat. We started walking only to find out that it was a 25 minute walk!!! AND the change machines were broken so we had to search the town for change (I know, I know, first world problems, right?). The town was depressed and deserted except for a few bars and convenience stores. We put our clothes in the washing machine and Lisa hung out as I went for a walk to make a few phone calls. Along the way I found a piano on the sidewalk (not surprising) and sat down and played for a little while.
I went back and helped Lisa put the clothes into the drier. Then I showed her the piano on the sidewalk and played for her for a little while. We walked back to get our clothes and finally walked back to the hotel around 2:00PM, over 2 hours after we left. I was starving and, I’m sorry to say, cranky. We had lunch in the hotel casino overlooking the falls and I felt so much better. Then we walked down to the falls. Here’s a video of us taking the incline ride down to the overlook where the beauty of the falls will blow your mind if you’ve never seen them.
The amount of water rushing over the falls just a few feet away from you is overwhelming. It just keeps coming in mass quantities! The 360 degree view is incredible. Every step you take offers a new view and you just have to stop, look, and take more pictures. We walked on the path up along the river above the falls and saw several massive old power generating station buildings, parks, and historical markers. Then back down the other side of the road with more beautiful paths and parks. We passed beautiful botanical gardens and Lisa could not stop taking photos. We made our way back to the falls overlook and spent another hour basking in the mist of Niagra Falls and finally back up the hill to our hotel.
I went to the fitness center and worked out while Lisa did some work in the room. Then we went out for a nice dinner in the casino and back to our room to relax for a few hours before the bus departed around 2:00 AM. We drove for about 30 minutes to the international border crossing, presented our passports, and drove on. We all went to bed and woke up in Peekskill, NY for another day on tour.
If you're in the Midwest or Northeast USA in September we would love for you to join us at one of the many venues we'll be performing in. Below we have listed the tour dates.

NEW VIDEO and SINGLE RELEASE
The new video and single for The Fearlessness is the title song. This rocking anthem about being fearless is a timeless song. The song is going out to radio stations across the United States right now and being added to more stations every day. The single will be available as a digital download on September 7th as well.
The video was shot by Bryce Johnson at the top of the Park City ski resort (10,000 feet above sea level!) and right where we got married 25 years ago so it is a very special spot. This is the first time we’ve worked with Bryce and we think you’ll agree that it’s an incredibly beautiful work of art! We’ll be promoting the video and single all over the place so please help us make it go viral by sharing and posting on any and all social media. We SO appreciate our fans help!
